Spanish Summer Intensive Course in Ecuador
May 20th-June 19th
Spanish 209 - Spanish in Latin America (F10, F11)
Spanish 309 - Spanish in Latin America (F11)
This an intensive four-week course in Ecuador, including classes five days a week with Ecuadorian professors and a Rhodes professor. On the weekends, we have excursions to the capital city of Quito, a national park, indigenous ruins, and a waterfall! After classes, we have bus tours, museum visits, cooking classes, dance classes, and movie night.
This course and its Spanish-immersion format dramatically advanced students’ proficiency. Cultural studies units, museum visits, and excursions are all integrated into the course’s central language-acquisition activities.
$3525. Fee will include: room and board, domestic travel within Ecuador, laundry, classes, and excursions.
For Spanish 209, Rhodes Spanish 102 or permission of director.
